1. What is Brainfit Classroom about?
BrainFit Classroom is an English language programme that combines structured language instruction with brain fitness training. Our English Language instruction is closely aligned with the MOE English syllabus. Brain fitness training comprises computer-based learning on FFW Reading and Reading Assistant, as well as customised trampoline exercises.
2. What is the difference between BrainFit Studio and BrainFit Classroom?
BrainFit Studio programmes are dedicated brain fitness programmes. The programmes improve a whole spectrum of foundational cognitive skills for life-long peak performance. The BrainFit Classroom programme also incorporates key elements of brain fitness, as brain fitness is just so important for every kind of learning. Additionally, it offers focused training in major language areas, with a curriculum to improve students’ understanding of key language concepts, as well as provide targeted practice for better academic achievement. The curriculum focuses on strengthening phonics, grammar, comprehension, vocabulary and writing skills, all of which are essential for success in the Singapore school system. Our teachers give immediate feedback to students during every lesson, enhancing the learning experience.
3. Can my child enrol for both BrainFit Studio and BrainFit Classroom programmes?
Yes, definitely! This would enable your child to enhance his or her brain fitness, and also master English and achieve school success.
4. What is class size like?
Class size is kept at a maximum of eight students, which allows every child more opportunities for interaction and learning. Teachers can also provide more guidance, with this small class size.
5. What age groups are you catering for?
BrainFit Classroom caters to children from ages 5-12. Kindergarteners take the Core Curriculum, which equips them with school readiness skills. Older children take the Enhanced Curriculum, which equips them to perform well at school. All our learning activities are specifically tailored to boost children’s academic performance – and they are fun too!
6. Where are classes held?
BrainFit Classroom centres are now at Marine Parade and Jurong, with another opening in Hougang by end June.
